Where Texas bluebonnets meet the Maya ceiba, good software grows.
The name joins two places. Blue is for the bluebonnets that cover Texas every spring. The ceiba is the sacred tree of the Maya, the tall tree of Chiapas and Yucatán whose wide crown shelters everything beneath it.
In Maya, yax means blue-green, and the ceiba is called yaxché. So "Blue Ceiba" is almost the tree's own name, carried over from Maya. It's also what we want to be: one roof that shelters a family of small, useful products, grown with care in Texas.
